Residential homes only. SAA-accredited solar design and install on the Northern Gold Coast. New solar PV systems, upgrades to existing setups, and solar designed to pair with a home battery.
Solar's a crowded market on the Gold Coast and a lot of it gets installed badly. We don't chase volume β solar is one of the things we do, alongside batteries, AC and electrical. If you want a tidy, well-engineered system from a local SAA-accredited installer, we're here for it.
We focus on residential homes only. No commercial solar farms, no off-grid sheds, no caravan parks.
We install premium-tier panels and inverters. We're brand-neutral β we'll recommend what suits your roof, your home and your budget rather than pushing the one brand that pays the best margin. Common picks:
If you've already got a brand in mind or a recent quote you want a second opinion on, send it through β happy to compare.
For solar upgrades and hybrid inverter options, Aircon M8 can review whether selected GoodWe systems are suitable alongside other battery and inverter options, subject to site design and supplier availability.
Full new PV install β site assessment, design, panels on the roof, inverter on the wall, Energex paperwork lodged, system commissioned and registered for STC rebate. Standard residential systems sit between 6.6 kW and 13.2 kW depending on roof space and usage.
Adding panels to an existing system, replacing an aged or undersized inverter, or fixing up a previous installer's poor work. Common upgrade triggers: power bills creeping back up, adding an EV, or planning to add a battery and needing a better inverter.
Done together it's neater and cheaper than doing them separately. You get both the solar STC rebate and the federal Cheaper Home Batteries rebate applied at point of sale. Most common pairing: 10β13 kW solar with a 13β16 kWh battery. Home Battery details β
Solar PV has its own rebate β Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs). It's a federal point-of-sale discount based on system size and zone. Gold Coast (Zone 3) β a typical 6.6 kW system attracts roughly $2,500β$3,000 in STCs at current prices, deducted from your quote upfront.
It's a smaller rebate than the battery one, and it also tapers down each year, but it's still genuine money off. If you're getting solar + battery together, you claim both rebates independently.
Note: This is a different rebate to the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program β see the battery rebate explainer for that one.
Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) is the Clean Energy Regulator-appointed body that accredits solar and battery installers. Without SAA accreditation, an installer can't sign off the STC rebate. We hold accreditation for both solar PV system design and solar PV installation, plus battery endorsements.
We hold the electrical licence. The switchboard work that comes with a solar install β meter rearrangement, new circuits, isolators β is our work end-to-end, not bounced to a separate sparky who hasn't seen the rest of the install.
We're not running a high-volume sales floor. Solar sales companies are paid to install volume; we quote each home individually and recommend panels and inverters based on your roof, your usage and your likely battery upgrade in the next few years.
We're the same number for the battery retrofit. Most solar customers add a battery within a few years. If we install your solar, we already know your switchboard, your inverter and your DC layout β the battery job is half as messy as starting fresh with a different installer.
We don't disappear after install. Same team handles warranty work, recommissioning, AC service or any electrical work you need later. One number, one accountable tradie.
Highly variable β depends on system size, panel brand, inverter brand, roof type and complexity. After STC rebate, typical Gold Coast residential systems sit in the $5,000β$12,000 range. We give you a fixed price upfront, no "from $X" marketing nonsense.
Depends on your usage, roof space and what you're planning. A 6.6 kW system suits most 3-bed homes with no EV. Adding an EV or planning a battery? Go bigger β 10β13 kW. We'll size it from your actual bill, not a generic rule of thumb.
Usually yes, but it depends on your existing inverter capacity and Energex rules. Send us a photo of your inverter and your current setup β we'll tell you what's possible.
Yes β that's our preferred pairing. Single trip, both rebates applied, neater install. Home Battery details β
We don't do commercial. Residential homes only. If you're after a commercial system, we'd suggest reaching out to a specialist commercial installer.
Tier-1 panels carry 25-year performance warranties (typically 85%+ of rated output at year 25). Inverters are the weak link β most last 10β15 years before replacement. Microinverters last longer but cost more upfront.
Send a photo of your roof and switchboard β we'll review it during business hours and come back with a clear quote covering panel/inverter selection, STC rebate where eligible, and any site-specific requirements explained upfront.
