Filter cleans, coil flushes and full performance checks for split and ducted systems. Properly done — not the $99 rush job.
Annual servicing is what makes the difference between a 7-year aircon and a 15-year aircon. The $99 specials are usually a 20-minute filter wipe and a service stamp. A real service takes 90 minutes to two hours and actually addresses the things that cause early failure: clogged coils, dirty fans, weak refrigerant charge, ageing capacitors.
We service splits and ducted systems across the Northern Gold Coast. From $170 inc GST for a single split, including coil clean and full performance check.
The work that actually matters:
You get a service report at the end. If anything's flagged for attention, you know about it before it becomes a breakdown.
An aircon that's never been serviced will:
A $170 service every 12–18 months keeps the system running efficiently and catches small issues before they become $1,500 repairs.
Once a year if you run it most days. Every 18 months if you only run it through summer and the occasional cold snap. Ducted systems benefit from servicing every 12 months because of the larger air volumes and more components.
Standard split-system service from $170 inc GST. Ducted services typically $280–$450 depending on system size, zone count and access. We give the price upfront — no upselling on the day.
Time and depth. A real service takes 90 minutes to 2 hours per split, includes coil cleaning (the thing that actually matters), drain flushing, refrigerant pressure check and electrical testing. A $99 service is usually a filter wipe and a sticker.
60–90 minutes for a single split. 2–3 hours for a multi-zone ducted system. We don't cut corners on time.
Yes — we work directly with Fujitsu (we're Authorised Agents) and other major brands for warranty service. If you've got a unit under warranty that needs work, give us a call with the model and serial.
Annually if it runs most of the year. Every 18 months minimum. Ducted systems annually. Don't skip it — the running-cost saving alone usually pays for the service inside 6 months.
Filter cleaning is great DIY maintenance — pop them out, vacuum or rinse, dry, replace. Do it monthly in heavy use. But that's a fraction of what a real service covers — coils, drain, refrigerant pressure, electrical testing all need a tech.
Usually yes — most ceiling leaks are blocked drain lines, which a service flushes. Sometimes it's a more serious issue (drain pan crack, slope problem). Call us with photos and we'll diagnose first.
For installs and compliance jobs, send us a floor plan and we'll come back same day.
